Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form and choose to send. That is:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Which artist you'd like, if you picked one
• The budget range you selected
• Three preferred dates
• What you wrote in the description of the piece
• Up to five reference images, if you attached any

There is no account to create, nothing to log into, and no other form on the site. If you never send a request, we collect nothing about you at all beyond the server logs described below.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your request: to work out which artist suits the piece, to find a date that works, and to text or call you back about it. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't use your number for advertising or send you promotional messages.

We never sell what you send us through the booking form. Your name, phone number, description and images go to us and nowhere else.

Separately from that, our advertising pixel shares browsing activity on this site with Meta so we can measure our ads, as described under Cookies and tracking below. California law treats that kind of sharing as something you can opt out of — see Your choices.

Who else handles it

The site is hosted by Hostinger. When you send a booking request, our server emails it straight to us — it isn't stored in a database or handed to a third-party form service on the way. That email arrives at a Gmail address, so Google processes it once it lands. Both companies handle the data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Two other things happen automatically that are worth naming:

• Server logs. Like any website, our host records standard request information — including your IP address, browser, and the pages you asked for — to keep the site running and secure.
• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We don't control that and we get nothing back from it.

Links out to Instagram and Google Maps take you to those companies' sites, which have their own privacy policies. Following one of our links doesn't send them anything about you that visiting them directly wouldn't.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells us how people found us and which of our ads actually lead to bookings.

It does that by setting cookies in your browser and sending Meta a record of the pages you opened here and whether you sent a booking request. It does not send Meta what you typed into the form — no name, no phone number, no description, and none of your images.

Meta may match that activity to your Facebook or Instagram account and use it to show you ads. What they do with it is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, not this one.

You can stop it. Meta's ad preferences control how your activity is used, most browsers can block third-party cookies, and a tracking-blocker extension will stop the pixel loading here at all. None of that affects the booking form — it works the same either way.

Beyond the pixel we run no other analytics, and nothing else is stored in your browser between visits.

Your reference images

Images you attach are resized inside your own browser before anything is sent, so the original full-size file never leaves your device. What we receive is a smaller copy, used only to understand the piece you want. We don't publish anyone's reference images.

Photographs of finished tattoos shown on this site are our own work, posted with the client's agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep a booking request for as long as we need it to handle the enquiry and any work that follows from it, then delete it. If you'd rather we delete yours sooner, just ask.

Your choices

Email thextattoos@gmail.com and you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete it

We'll need enough detail to find your request — usually the phone number you gave us. If you're a California resident, state law gives you rights along these lines, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them.

You can also opt out of the ad tracking described under Cookies and tracking. Blocking third-party cookies or using a tracking blocker stops it at your end, and you can email us to ask that we don't use your activity for advertising. Either way the booking form works exactly the same, and we never sell what you send through it.

Age

Our work is for adults and this site isn't directed at children. Please don't send us a booking request if you're under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website can promise perfect security, so please don't send anything through the form that you wouldn't want stored in an email inbox — we never need payment details or ID numbers to book you in.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Any significant change will be reflected here before it takes effect.
